Reporting to the EVP, Strategy & Innovation, the Business Development Manager’s primary purpose will be to drive revenue through increased sales and expanding our customer base. An important element of this
role includes managing our sales process to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Your Main Responsibilities will include:
Sales Operations
- Proactively seizing opportunities to reach out to new potential customers in a proactive, targeted manner or reconnecting with warm connections or leads leveraging phone, emails, and social selling to create and maintain a pipeline
- Seeking and acting on growth opportunities
- Taking full ownership of the sales life cycle from the initial step of asking the right questions to closing the sale and post-sale follow up with all assigned accounts
- Preparing and conducting sales presentations, writing reports, proposals, and price quotes for customers
- Following up to ensure proposals are well received, information is accurate, customer’s needs are met, and issues are resolved quickly and effectively
- Negotiating contracts and successfully closing deals
- Delivering and hitting profitable Growth and Sales
- Targets while maintaining company ethical standards
- Managing the CRM, Business Analytics, and Pipeline
- Monitoring historical information and trends to gain insight into future performance, potential gaps, and unmet needs
- Overseeing HubSpot and keeping it up to date by providing training and coaching to others, and implementing processes
- Networking and building relationships with new clients, local groups, organizations, and associations to build relationships, keep current with trends, and uncover opportunities that lead to sales prospects
- Attending relevant training sessions to keep up with industry knowledge
- Attending sales meetings, trade shows, and other events as required (at times, outside of normal working hours)
- Monitoring and consistently meeting sales goals outlined in the Sales strategy
- Contributing in a positive manner to the OKRs and targets of Six Degrees Medical
- Sharing industry knowledge with team members through huddles and presentations
Stakeholder Relations
- Nurturing client relationships and establish meaningful partnerships
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction
- Responding to inbound leads, client complaints, and inquires quickly and effectively
- Performing regular new account management reviews, including quarterly business reviews, assessing client satisfaction, service level reporting, deliverable execution, and areas of improvement
- Continuously brainstorming and identifying new and creative ideas on how to better service potential clients
- Creating materials and presentations and effectively representing the company at conferences, networking events, and trade shows with a view to building networks
- Meeting periodically with internal key stakeholders to ensure constant flow of communication.

You will have:
- Degree or diploma preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field or relevant work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an account management/sales role, with the ability to develop new business and meet or exceed sales targets
- Industry experience is an asset
- Proven track record planning, organizing, and managing large-scale projects, sales plans, and initiatives
- Strong computer knowledge with MS Office
- Experience with HubSpot or other similar CRM/sales software
- Ability to communicate and present effectively to a wide range of people of a diverse background and experience, within all levels of organizations
- Superior relationship management abilities with a focus on establishing and maintaining cooperative, effective working relationships with employees, management, and clients
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to solve problems
- Effectively able to work and thrive in a team environment, focused on achieving results
- Ability to travel frequently with a valid passport
